The love stories I capture are filled with honest emotions between people who care about the relationship that exists between them and not what the world around them thinks. If you are looking for a photographer...LOOK NO FURTHER. Makayla met us at 5:30 AM to hike & She guided us up the rocks like a pro. She was incredibly friendly and made the atmosphere comfortable. She used techniques to crack us up to make sure we had authentic emotions showing in our photos (I was very nervous about being awkward with poses but she was a pro at making sure this was not a concern). You can tell she truly loves the work that she does & loves getting to know the people she works with. My fiancé & I are so lucky & appreciative to have crossed paths with Makayla!

Makayla is a true professional and artist. She not only captured our day beautifully, but she also contributed so much joy to the atmosphere. Makayla was incredible and easily one of the most responsive and professional vendors we worked with for our wedding. She went above and beyond to help everything run smoothly and captured the important moments of both days. We were very nervous about having professional pictures taken and did not want them to look staged but Makayla was able to make us feel totally comfortable and captured pictures that were truly reflections of us instead of trying to make it look like a staged bridal magazine. We couldn’t have picked a better photographer and we are so happy with the outcome

This is the part that really pumps me up! It's time for an adventure! We'll get to know each other as we explore together. If you bring your four-legged friends, I'm probably going to schedule extra time to get to know them too!
Step 2. - We Plan
Traveling or close to home, the best adventures always start with a plan. We'll begin with a location that reflects your relationship and let it evolve from there. If you don't have ideas don't stress, I have tons! I'll also help you guys set up a timeline so your day runs smoothly.
Step 1. - We Talk
Coffee dates are great when time and distance allow, but if not, let's have a phone date! Tell me about your dreams, your first adventure, your pets... you name it, I am here for it! I'll also answer any questions you have. This is probably your first rodeo when it comes to weddings, but don't worry, it's not mine!

Collections
Intimate Destination Weddings - Where ever you want to fly or drive, we will meet you there! These celebrations are different from traditional weddings we are used to seeing on Pinterest and in Bridal Magazines. The most significant difference between an intimate wedding and an elopement is in size - specifically the number of guests you have joining you for your celebration.
Intimate weddings usually have 10-100 guests. The focus is still on having an authentic celebration that reflects YOU and what matters to the two of you while choosing to surround yourself with people that get that vision and support you in it.
Whats the difference?
Adventure Elopements - Typically, these are just for the two of you. Sometimes you might have an officiant and maybe your parents or a couple of besties along to witness your vows. We will plan your celebration together so that it perfectly captures the relationship you share. Elopements are designed to forgo any expectations and stay true to who you are as a couple. Basically, it’s one of those you do you kinda situations, and they are my hands-down favorite story to capture.
